Summer mountain school
This program is held during the summer vacation from the beginning of June to the end of August and is to fill the free time of children. Our mountain school gives its participants the opportunity to get acquainted with important rules and skills needed to conquer various peaks, both in the mountains and in everyday life. Surrounded by the beautiful nature and the fresh air, the young mountaineers get to know the riches of Vitosha Nature Park.
MORNING: Climbing rope garden – Practical activities with ropes
AFTERNOON: Vitosha – Theoretical and practical classes for safety in the mountains
ALL DAY: Beach – Beach Complex Rudartsi – Fun and adaptive games
MORNING: Climbing – Practical and theoretical activities in a hall or training rocks.
AFTERNOON: Vitosha – Working with a map and compass – orienteering games
ALL DAY: Ethno day – Visiting sites according to the age characteristics of the group
MORNING: Riding – Practical and theoretical activities
AFTERNOON: Vitosha – Setting up a tent and barbecue
- The program is suitable for different age groups from 4 to 12 years.
Basic trainings in various fields, led by highly qualified specialists, are included. - The weekly program changes only in bad weather conditions, including:
- Museums of different types and nature.
- Applied activities.
- Arts.
- NEW !!! “ETHNO DAY”:
- Visit to the Farm – acquaintance, care for plants and animals, kneading bread, what is a dairy, etc..
- Pottery and other activities related to traditions and crafts.
- Visit to Chocolate Factory.
- Diversifying the weekly programs when the children are on Vitosha also we include:
- Lectures of different nature, together with APEX – Bulgaria (Association of Young Polar Researchers) on topics: stones, volcanoes, fossils, and mosses, etc.
- Practical activities with mountain rescue dog guides, together with “ME, YOU AND FRIENDS”.
- Practical and theoretical activities for first aid in extreme situations in the mountains, together with PSS and BRC.
- Bases included in the weekly program – Rope Garden “Kokolandia”; Alpine climbing Bonsist Hall; Bongo-bongo horse base; Beach complex “Rudartsi”, Vitosha – Base of RIN-SPORT in the ski area “Vetrovala”.

- !!! Sample lunch prepared from home in boxes – sandwiches, fruit, dessert, thermos with water and more.
- At the request of the parents we can include a hot lunch and an afternoon breakfast – BGN 8lv per day / soup, mainly, fruit and afternoon breakfast / with the kind assistance of the hotel-restaurant “Chairite”, which take care of this.
- In case of absences only for valid reasons, when the client has notified in advance, 50% of the remaining amount is refunded or the missed classes are taken within 2 weeks from the end of the package.

Necessary equipment and belongings for the mountains and the city
MOUNTAIN CLOTHES- Seasonal tracksuit, T-shirt, high socks covering the ankles, seasonal hiking boots, hat according to the season and the weather at the discretion of the parents.
BACKPACK – Seasonal jacket, thermos with water or unbreakable bottle with a reusable cup, long-sleeved blouse, vest, spare items for changing and dressing when wet / socks, sneakers, underwear, underwear /, in wet weather – raincoat and rubber boots.
Clothing for the city and the beach – Тениска, къси панталони, чорапи, сандали, шапка за слънце, раница с вещи според програмата и други вещи по преценка на родителите.
Minimum / maximum number of participants – 16/20 children.
Due to the emerging epidemic emergency, compliance with certain anti-epidemic rules is required:
-the maximum number of children we could work with is 10.12 per group. In case of increased interest from the parents, we have the opportunity to divide the children into more groups with an instructor, and in bad weather conditions we have the opportunity to divide the groups into separate rooms. When visiting museums and other indoor sites, the groups will move in shifts.
– upon prior registration, a Declaration of Mutual Informed Consent and Shared Responsibility is required.
-When gathering the children in the morning, the temperature will be measured privately and in the presence of a temperature above 37.4 degrees, the children will return.
– Part of the necessary items become mandatory – personal hand sanitizer, mask or scarf, only for indoor use and transport.
